DFD Associates provides a range of leadership development services, including:

  • Review of existing leadership development activities, with recommendations for enhancement
  • Evaluation of leadership development program impacts
  • Leadership development needs assessment
  • Design of leadership development programs and/or materials directed toward fulfilling specific client-organization needs
  • Program coordination and delivery
  • Design of mentoring program
  • Coaching of individual leaders and managers
  • Facilitation of dialogue sessions for leaders
  • Design of follow-on and support activities for previous leadership development efforts

DFD Associates sometimes provides interim leadership or short-term project leadership in specific fields; please inquire.


The NeLD
Program

DFD's Duane Dale designed and coordinated an intensive leadership development program, "Northeast Leadership Development" (NeLD, 1995–99). To access an archive of Dale's NeLD program materials, click here.

The hallmarks of the NeLD program include:

  • a rich mix of learning experiences
  • a theory-base regarding leadership and change
  • mentoring
  • small teams for dialogue, reflection, and team-designed learning activities
  • individual development through reflection and journaling
  • self-designed individualized learning to supplement group activities, guided by a written learning contract
  • an individual or team "change project"
