Duane Dale photo Duane Dale is the proprietor and principal consultant for DFD Associates, a consulting practice that specializes in helping organizations pursue relevance and long-term sustainability.

Dr. Dale has worked with small and large groups on teamwork, vision, strategy, creativity, and change. His clients have included the Boston Police Department, Lutheran Services in America, the National Science Foundation, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and ten of the nation's state universities. He has facilitated high-involvement processes for small teams and for gatherings as large as 300. He has conducted strategy-related research for the nationwide Cooperative Extension System, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and other clients.

Dale's formal education includes a B.A. in psychology from Oberlin College,
an M.A. in experimental social psychology from the University of Michigan,
and a doctorate in education from the University of Massachusetts.

He lives in Madison, New Hampshire, with his wife, the Reverend Heidi Frantz-Dale. They are the parents of two adult sons.
